:nana: :nana: :nana: am off to Vegas on 16th November with hubby...a child free week.....cannot wait :tigbounce
So all you Vegas veterans tell me all about your trips there please!!

My last visit was in 1995, so also looking forward to some up to date tips :)

I love Vegas its one of my favourite places to go. Where are you staying?
Things to do are
see the Volcano outside the Mirage
See the pirate show outside Treasure Island
Freemont Street Experience - different light show every hour from about 9pm, the Rat Pack one and the one with the Who are fantastic.
Gondola ride at the Venetia - this is really good. We stayed here on our last trip and loved the hotel
The dancing fountains outside the Bellagio
These are all free and very good.
Also go on ticketmastre and see if there are any shows or acts on that you might want to see.

Hoover Dam a must - Red Rock Canyon is nice for a wee drive - shopping - heres some places to shop

Am staying at Imperial Palace.....was a good price for a hotel on central strip and couldnt afford Ceasers Palace etc (unfortunately!!)
Hubby looking forward to gambling but I guess I'll spend all his money in shops before he gets the chance to blow it:D:D

Should be ok in the day but as it is the desert will get quite cool at night!
